Grandia III is a 3D game with a very good quality and has a very beautiful story,
in this game as the lead role are:

"YUKI" which means snow in Japanese language is a stubborn child who idolized the legendary pilot Schmidt, aims to be the second pilot to fly across the ocean and touching the clouds.

"ALFINA" (person who is able to communicate with gods and other celestial beings), who is on a pilgrimage to the Arcriff Sanctuary. She is a softspoken girl and the next in line for the Communicators after Emelious, her brother. She seeks to find her brother, who has, for reasons unknown, abandoned his duties bitterly and disappeared.

"MIRANDA" is Yuki's mother, though Yuki refers to her by her first name. She knows her son inside and out. She is very supportive of her son, and often speaks well of him to Alfina for his benefit. She ends up accompanying Alonso on his journey to complete his personal world map. Despite being Yuki's mother she looks just as old as him.
